I purchased the iolite being a virgin to vapouriser's, i was very impressed when i recived it, come in a little box similar tot he iphone, looks style ish and is quiet small,
With the iolite i can now smoke indoors with next to no smell, its healthier on my lungs and throte and i am very pleased.

Best purchase of 2010 by far thanks to the edit team for being so quick and helpfull =0 =] [=

For my own this is the best portable vaporizer ever built.
It works with gas but it's very safe. The only thing you must not do is to put it back in your pocket or in it's smart pocket bag without turning off the heating.
Even after turning off, you still need to wait a bit because the Iolite will keep on heating for about 1 minute.
You can hear it.
In fact there are 2 gas chambers : one to fill like a lighter (hight pressure) and another (low pressure) that is filled with by the first one when heating is turned on.
When you turn off, it locks the hight pressure chamber (just as a gas lighter does) but the low pressure chamber goes on heating the herb chamber until there is no more gas into it
I have a Vapir Oxygen too.
The waiting time before the correct heat is reached is about the same with these two vaporizers.
Iolite is cordless.
It makes a smooth noise when the gas heats the herb chamber (from times to times, depending on the chamber temperature regulation).
Otherwise it's the most unnoticeable device you may find.
It's provided with a nice pocket bag into what you may carry all your stuff.

I purchased this product about 2 months ago. It uses minimal herb and is ready to use in about 4-6 minutes. The chamber is pretty small, I can only really get .05 in. That lasts for about 30 minutes vaping! For the amount you get in the effects are mind blowing! After 2 months I've had no problems. Smal, hardly noticeable vapor is produced. Heats up nicely too!!!! 5 stars.

Noticed there were no reviews so:
Recently purchased one of these because I wanted to quit all form of smoking in a literal sense.

The reason for this is that for me the enjoyment of smoking has now been outweighed by the negative aspects of it - coughing, fitness is more effort etc.

I have been interested in the idea of vaporises before but never purchased one due to the non portability issues and hassle surrounding their use.

I got used to this in a few weeks and havn't looked back since - it's easy to use, very portable, has great effect, nice taste.

Two comments -

1. one fill lasts for about 45mins so if your off for a session somewhere take a butane refill cylinder.(doesn't really decrease portability as it can just be chucked in a rucksack/bag.)

2. If you've got a huge tolerance then due to the fact you can't smoke as much as quickly compared to usual methods you will probably be left not completely satisfied (as was my initial experience.) My advice take a break and when you start again using this product those issues will be naturally resolved by your brain and you'll be left all the healthier for not smoking.
