The roots of DNA Genetics started in the late 80s by two herb enthusiasts who were passionate about collecting Californian strains and other rare seeds. Based in Amsterdam, Holland DNA Genetics have won multiple cup prizes and in 2005, the strain The Martian Mean Green won the High Times Cannabis Cup for best sativa. One of their other strains, L.A. Confidential, has won prizes at the High Times Cannabis Cup in two successive years, and took 1st place Breeders Cup at the 2005 IC 420.
